Women’s Day 2024

Traditionally, we (the syilx people) followed a matriarchal society. Our women are the lifeblood of our communities. They help us keep our heads on straight and encourage us to dip deeper & aim higher. Chief spiƛ̓əm (bitterroot) teaches us to prioritize health and wellness, guiding us with unconditional love. Chief spiƛ̓əm (bitterroot) promotes the feminine aspects of new life that create nurturing relationships.
