World Water Day 2024
Water is one of the most important relationships we hold. Water nourishes and sustains us, the land, and all living things. To learn about Okanagan waterscapes, sustainability practices, and the importance of water, come and check out limited time exhibit: Waterways
Women’s Day 2024
Today, and all days, we extend our appreciation, admiration, and love for all the women in our lives. Sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts, limlemt to our women.

tmixʷ (all living things) | tmxʷulaxʷ (the land)
Our culture is the land, the living things, all our relations, and our interconnectivity. In curating our newest display, we worked with community to create artistic representations of some of our traditional medicines. We hope that by sharing our connection to the land, we are able to create a better understanding of our ongoing and shared relationship with the land and all those that inhabit it.
Mountain Goat Rock
If you’ve ever driven around Westbank, you might have noticed a large mountain goat shaped rock - this rock is more than it’s shape. It's a story.
Fire and the Okanagan
Fire is not new to the Okanagan — the out of control nature of it is. Traditionally, the syilx people would utilize fire as a calculated land maintenance tool - this practice was known as a prescribed burn.
What’s the Deal with Sncewips?
